Article Body

The Argus Awards represent the respect and gratitude students have for professors and residents that have taught them the art of medicine. Emphasizing the importance of maintaining high quality education, the Argus Awards renew the enthusiasm of teaching and learning in our community. The Argus Society of the University of Alabama School of Medicine was formed by the student body in 1996 to honor the faculty and departments that have exhibited excellence in medical education.
