Personal Info:
Dr. Martin obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree (1984) and Masters in Science degree (1987) in psychology from Augusta College. He received his doctoral degree in clinical psychology in 1995 from Louisiana State University, and completed clinical internship and postdoctoral specialization in clinical neuropsychology from West Virginia University-Morgantown School of Medicine, Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry.

 

Dr. Martin has been the Director of Neuropsychology Services for the UAB Comprehensive Epilepsy Program since 1995. He provides comprehensive pre- and post-operative neuropsychological assessments for the center's epilepsy surgery program. Other clinical activities include assessment of speech lateralization using the Intracarotid Amytal procedure, inpatient diagnostic assessment of pseudoseizure patients, and outpatient psychotherapy services for patients with epilepsy.
