The Division of Critical Care and Perioperative Medicine provides physician staffing to the Surgical Intensive Care Units of the Birmingham Veterans Administration Medical Center, University Hospital and UAB Highlands. The faculty also provide physician staffing for the Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit at University Hospital.
All of the clinical faculty members of the Division are certified as Diplomates of the American Board of Anesthesiology and are subspecialty certified in Critical Care Medicine.
