- 6. Review the National Vaccine Compensation Act.

"Immunization Update: Changes and Challenges"
Upon completion of this educational activity, participants will be able to:
- 1. Discuss recent vaccine recommendations and the 2010 vaccine schedule for infants, children and adolescents.
- 2. Discuss current epidemiology of selected vaccine preventable diseases.
- 3. Discuss recent studies addressing issues in vaccine safety, including MMR, MMRV and HPV vaccines.
- 4. Discuss current vaccine shortages and recent recommendations concerning the reinstatement of the booster dose of Hib vaccine.
