Welcome to the Emergency Medicine Residency Program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, one of the premier clinical, educational and research institutions in the United States.
The program is designed to provide a challenging, hands-on patient care experience in the two Emergency Departments of the University of Alabama Medical Center. The program conforms to all requirements specified by the Accreditation Council on Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and is fully accredited by the Residency Review Committee for Emergency Medicine.
